  1. PHI THETA KAPPA TRANSFER SCHOLARSHIP: $1000 scholarship for one year ($500 per semester) on a competitive basis to one Phi Theta Kappan. Recipient must: have completed a minimum of 45 hours at a junior or community college; maintain a 3.5 GPA each semester for the duration of the one-year scholarship; be a full-time student(minimum 12 credit hours per semester) at SHSU; transfer directly from a community or junior college; be a Phi Theta Kappa member in good standing at the time of transfer; become an active member of the Beta of Texas Alumni Chapter of SHSU.
