Submit proof of meningitis vaccination at least 10 days prior to the first class day or 10 days prior to move-in date if living on campus.  Documentation should be sent to the SHSU Health Center, additional information can be found by visiting www.shsu.edu/meningitis

Review your transcript evaluation for accuracy BEFORE you see your Academic Advisor.  If you have any questions about your transcript evaluation, contact the Undergraduate Admissions Office. You may reach them by phone at 936-294-1828 or visit them in Estill Building – Suite 112

Meet with your academic advisor in the Student Advising and Mentoring (SAM) Center, located in the College of Humanities & Social Science Building – Suite 170. It is highly recommended that you meet with your advisor BEFORE attending Transfer Orientation. For assistance call 936-294-4444

Apply for on-campus housing through the Department of Residence Life.  All first-year students who have been out of high school for less than a year are required to live in university residence halls and participate in the university meal plan. For assistance contact 936-294-1812

Visit www.shsu.edu/~reg_www/howtoregister/  for information on registration for your courses

Take your picture for your Bearkat OneCard (student ID) at the Bearkat OneCard Office, located in the Estill Building, Suite 230.  You must have a valid, government issued photo ID to get request card. For assistance contact 936-294-2273

Pay your tuition and fees by the deadline stated on your fee statement. To pay in person, visit the Estill Building  – Suite 103

Submit FINAL transfer transcript is sent after you completed your last semester to the Undergraduate Admissions Office
