We publish in English the best and most timely articles regarding the study of Finnish and Finnish-American topics from interdisciplinary and traditional perspectives. We actively seek articles and conference proceeds from our colleagues in these various disciplines concerned with Finnish Studies in its broad context and from institutions across the globe. We read and publish both solicited and unsolicited manuscripts for our open issues. We also publish themed issues. We use a double-blind review process to ensure the quality of the articles we publish. If you would like to serve as a reviewer, send your CV and your request to serve by email to one or both of the editors listed above. We use the APA documentation style. You can access a free reference to APA Style on the Purdue University OWL site. Unlike APA, we do not require a cover pager or a running head for article submissions, but all other requirements, including a 120-word abstract, should be observed. We publish reviews of books of academic and literary interest to our readership. If you wish to submit a book review, send it directly to our book review editor at the email address listed above. |
