"Everyone speaks of how we are the gentlemen of the fraternities and this dates back to the founding and its virtues. Sigma Chis conduct themselves on and off campus as true leaders and believers of the badge they possess. . . Brotherhood is absolute commitment and respect of one for another. I got to thinking about this and came up with a true but simple fact: true brotherhood is sacrifice. I've shared more with my pledge brothers than with anybody, and for the rest of our days, as brothers, we will stand behind one another. The whole chapter is full of different people with different social backgrounds and cultures, but they all share a common belief in the White Cross and the Ritual."
