"This is my second year of school here at Sam. Last year, as a freshman, I could see the tradition of Sigma Chi on the campus everyday. I knew Sigma Chi was the best fraternity. As a pledge, I learned the background of that tradition that I saw as a freshman. The purposes of Sigma Chi help each man become closer with others. . .Brotherhood is very important to me; without it a fraternity could not exist. I can tell that our pledge class has the tightest brotherhood of any other fraternities'. I would not share or give up the brotherhood of our fraternity to anyone. Brotherhood is special to me. I have been with the greatest group of guys this past semester; we stuck with each other, experienced situations together, and bonded with each and every person. I cannot believe the brotherhood we achieved in such a short time, but I feel closer to my pledge brothers than to anyone else."
