"True brotherhood is loving and caring about everyone around you. It is
sharing a common bond with someone and caring about them as if he was of your
own flesh and blood. It also carries an ideal of respect. You must respect
everyone around you and their opinions. You may not particularly agree with
someone or his opinion, but you will always honor and respect him and his
ideas. When we first came together as a pledge class, you could see the
diversity in the types of individuals we had. As time passed, we became very
tight and close as a pledge class. We sort of became one with each other.
If there was a disagreement amongst ourselves, we respected one another's
opinions whatever they may be. We have become like brothers of the same flesh
and blood as time has gone by. There is nothing I wouldn't do for one of
them, and the same for them. In a short amount of time I have gained a great
deal of love, respect, and honor for my pledge brothers."
