Christopher Everett
Nominee for Undergraduate Representative on the Executive Committee

Chris pledged Sigma Chi in the Fall of 1992 and was initiated in January of
1993. Since his freshman year he has been active in many campus organizations
and has become a widely respected leader on Sam Houston's campus. Chris is a
Kinesiology major who has maintained an overall grade point average of 3.5 and
has been the recipient of several scholarships as well as being named
outstanding kinesiology major and was recently named one of the ten most
outstanding students at Sam Houston State.
Chris' many campus activities include:
- Sigma Chi
- Rush Chairman
- Scholarship Chairman
- Magister
- Public Relations Chairman (Chapter received Best Public
Relations Award for 1995-96)
- Other campus involvement
- President of Order of Omega
- President of Orange Keys (a group of 14 students chosen
to aid the
university at formal functions with the Board of Regents and other dignitaries
throughout the school year
- Member of the Interfraternity Council for two years; he
was IFC Rush Chairman in the fall of 1995
- Varsity Cheerleader
- Member of the Alumni Alliance (a group of students who
works with the Sam Houston Alumni Association at their various functions on
and off campus)
- Elected to Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities
- Homecoming King finalist
- One of 15 Freshman Leaders chosen in 1992
- Nominated for Outstanding sophomore
- One of 15 male Freshman Orientation Counselors for two
years
- Nominated for outstanding senior
- Recipient of two scholarships in kinesiology
