INTERVIEW PAPER

Your interview paper needs to reflect the information you get from the interview.  You do not need to comment on it, argue with it or add support.   Your first paragraph should include who you interviewed, what his or her qualifications are to be considered a credible source for the topic (so you need to state what your topic is), where the interview took place and when.

After your first paragraph, you may choose write a transciption of the interview using a format like this:

You will need to be very accurate and transcribe the interview word for word.

Or you may choose to write the paper in traditional paragraph form where you pick several topics covered in the interview and consolidate all the information about that topic in a single paragraph.  Use as many direct quotations as possible.   The point of doing an interview is to gain material, but also to get someone else's language to use.  Paraphrase when necessary to consolidate different information.

The paper should be 3 pages, typed, double-spaced, 1" margins, 12 pt. font.
