Welcome Mentor Teachers and Supervising Librarians!
We appreciate the opportunities and guidance that comes to our Student Teachers and Librarian Interns through field experiences with you.
Tk20 Log In Information
Due to some districts' spam and phishing filters, our emails to Mentor Teachers or Supervising Librarians are not always delivered to your inbox, and in most cases, we are unaware that there was a problem. If you have not recieved your Tk20 login credentials in a reasonable amount of time, please use the Contact link at the top of this page. Often your email to us will open the door to recieve our emails.
Most Mentor Teachers will assess each candidate once near the end of their placement with you "Form D". The exception to this is physical education: Mentor Teachers who are working with our PE Student Teachers will do a second evaluation called a Focused Content Evaluation.
Near the end of your intern's semester with you we ask you to complete one assessment: Librarian Performance. The videos below will guide you through the login process and also how to complete the assessment; the videos are based on a mentor teacher's point of view. You only need to complete the assessment based on your observations of the librarian intern. There is also no focused content observation. Librarian interns do NOT turn any essays or otherwise in to Tk20 as they do for student teaching. Otherwise the assessment process is the same as the videos outline. If you have any difficulties, please feel free to contact us (use the Contact link) and we can assist you via email or over the phone.
