NOTE: Information displayed on the Student Teacher Application is drawn from your degree plan. Incorrect information should be corrected before submitting application (Carefully examine placement tags for new certifications).

Student Teacher Orientation–(8 am) early/mid Jan. (Spring) or Aug (Fall).
Student Teaching is your final coursework to be completed.
Access DARS now to verify all audits, transfers, and substitutions.
Note: Some financial aid programs (i.e. Pell Grant) may not recognize our program’s position (see SHSU Catalog): “Candidates registered for 9 hours during the student teacher semester are considered to be full-time students.” This may result in a reduction of financial aid. Students with questions should contact the SHSU financial aid office.
