Field Experience Badges
By request of SHSU faculty and the Sam Houston Innovative Partnerships with Schools
- Plastic badge holder/lanyard - Available at the bookstore beginning May 2003 (under $2.00).
- To be worn by all SHSU education students during all Level I and Level II field experiences. Students should display the appropriate ID badge associated with their education course.
- IMPORTANT! You should plan on signing in at the front office AND should wear the campus-specific visitor badge so campus teachers/personnel know you have signed in.
- You will be given inserts with your picture on it to place in your badge holder at the beginning of the semester. (Includes: Name, Sam ID, picture, course, instructor, semester/year.)
- You may be asked to bring your badge to class to assist classmates and instructor in learning names and to verify that badge holders have been purchased.
- All students enrolled in education courses with field experiences are required to apply to the Educator Preparation Program before beginning field experience. (Applications are outside Rm 213) Failure to do so will result in not receiving credit for course and not being allowed to complete field experience.
- For all Field Experiences: Save Multi-Year AEIS report data for each campus and enter into your on-line F. E. profile
