The Calendars Home provides links to students for important dates and information related to field experiences and certification faciliatated by the SHSU Education Preparation Program. It contains dates for registration and completion of Level I observation hours, the schedule for current and future student teachers, dates for practice exams, links for TExES exams, and dates for job fairs.

Field Experience Calendars - Level I and Student Teaching

Level I Field Experience Calendar provides important dates and information related to Level I field experiences administered through the SHSU Education Preparation Program. It contains information related to registration and completion of Level I observation hours.

The Student Teaching Detailed Calendar (HUB) and the Student Teacher General Annual Calendar provide important dates and events for future and current student teachers.

Schedules for Certification Examinations ("Practice" and TExES)

Representative Form Administration: Representative Forms (Practice Test) Calendar provides dates and information related to the Representative Form (Practice Test) which assists students in their preparation for the state certification exams.

TExES Administration: The Texas Education Agency (TEA)/Educational Testing Service (ETS) TExES Registration Bulletin Website  provides dates and important information related to the TExES certification exams.

Students can access the Certification & SHSU TExES webpages for additional information related to Representative Forms (Practice Exams), and the official TExES certification examinations.
