This course provides instruction and practice with individual tests and assessments for young children, individuals with mental retardation, and persons with low-incidence disabilities. Informal techniques such as criterion-referenced testing, play-based assessment, portfolio assessment, and contextual assessment also are presented. A comprehensive student evaluation is required. |

This course addresses ethical issues, experimental evaluations of interventions, measurement of behavior, and displaying and interpreting behavioral data. A field-based intervention is required. Prerequisite: SPD 531 |
