Reading & Writing Conference -- October 13th!
Don't forget about our Reading & Writing conference on October 13th! Regular registration is open now, but it will close on October 3rd at 5 PM. Late Registration will be open from October 3rd, 5 PM to October 10th, 5 PM. This is to ensure that you get lunch!

Literacy Methods Block Application Instructions
- Log onto TK20.
- Clock in the "Application" tab.
- On the left, under Applications, click "Create".
- From the drop down list, choose the appropriate application indicated as follows:
- 2a) Application: EC-6 UNDERGRADUATE Literacy Methods Block with Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct - Spring 2013
- 2b-1) Application: 4-8 Math or 4-8 Math/Science UNDERGRADUATE Literacy Methods Block with Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct - Spring 2013
- 2b-2) Application: 4-8 English/Social Studies UNDERGRADUATE Literacy Methods Block with Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct - Spring 2013

Beside Myself With Excitement:
The book review I wrote in last fall's Politics of Literacy class was finally published in the Journal of Rural Social Sciences. Also, I will be presenting at the National Rural Education Association conference in the fall, giving a workshop on the data from our Lee County Youth-Community Development Project.
