Practice Exams
2009-2010 Practice Exam/TExES Schedule (posted 9/2/09)
Practice exams allow test candidates to obtain a practical experience of the TExES exam administration. This experience is valuable as an analysis sheet will pinpoint any weaknesses and assist you in preparing for the TExES exam.
- Elementary Education Content
- IDS majors are to attend a practice exam session for their content area at the end of literacy block.
- Math (4-8) test candidates need to contact Dr. William Jasper (mth_waj@shsu.edu or 936-294-1575) for specific review and practice information.
- Secondary Education Content
- SED minors, or other educator combinations, are to seek advisement from their major department for information for practice examinations or approval to take their content TExES exam. This should be done in the semester prior to Methods Block.
- All IDS and SED Majors are to attend a practice exam session for the PPR at the end of methods block.
- Register at least four days prior to the practice exam
- There will be no admittance without prior registration and late arrivals will not be allowed to test
- Saturday Practice Test distribution begins at 8:00 a.m. for the morning session and 1:00 p.m. for the afternoon session-30 to 40 minutes after registration closes.
