Learner Centered Leadership

One of my greatest achievements to date was being accepted last February into the doctoral program at Sam Houston State University. I feel my membership in this program will prepare me for the challenges of the new millennium and will prepare me to be one of the stateís top Instructional Leaders. The following artifact is my official acceptance into the program.

While many of the career advancement, leadership opportunities in the past have been reserved for males, the time is now for women to emerge in roles of leadership throughout our nation. Through this program of study at Sam Houston State University, I hope to pursue avenues of leadership that will enrich my life and open doors to new challenges and opportunities.

I am honored to be a member of the doctoral cohort and I am anticipating many exciting and challenging endeavors to broaden my leadership horizon.
