Regional Trade Agreements, Migration and Remittances

The Department of Economics and International Business in collaboration with the Gibson D Lewis Center for Business Research and Economic Development (CBED) at the College of Business Administration, Sam Houston State University, is organizing a conference on regional trade agreements, migration and remittances in the Spring of 2008. Although any submission on these topics will be considered, preferences will be given to papers that focus on Central American Free Trade Agreement (CAFTA) and Latin America. The presentations will be organized in several sessions over two days, each session comprising three/four papers, with a discussant following each presenter. The conference will also include various lectures by invited speakers who are experts in related topic areas.
