The Department of Theatre and Dance offers a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre, Dance, and Musical Theater. Additionally, a Bachelor of Arts in Teaching and a Master of Fine Arts in Dance is offered. Sam Houston State University has announced the construction phase of our new
Performing Arts Center.

The Performing Arts Center will contain entirely new performance, studio, and dressing room facilities for our Dance program. In addition the Center will expand the Music and Theatre programs performance, instructional, and production facilities.
