ONLINE COURSE ENROLLMENT IS UP!
We are very pleased to announce an increase by almost 50% for online course enrollment this summer. Currently, 4080 students are taking online classes compared to 2326 registered students last summer.
THE PRINCIPLES OF GOOD PRACTICE
What are Principles of Good Practice for Online Courses? The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board provides insight concerning basic assumptions; curriculum and instruction; institutional context and commitment; and evaluation and assessment for academic degree and certificate programs, as well as credit courses offered electronically.
Since February 2010, SHSU Online has conducted 179 studio sessions and captured 81 hours of course content for 25 faculty members. These recordings consist of video lectures for various online classes campus wide. If you're interested in recording lectures for your online class, please contact SHSU Online today.
