Research

My research interests are Remittances, Migration, Exchange Rates, Monetary Policy, Housing and Time Series Econometrics. One strand of my research examines the relationship between remittances and the macroeconomic variables of the remittance receiving countries. Another analyzes the impact of demographic factors on the amounts remitted. I am also interested in the impact of monetary policy on the U.S. housing market.
