Instructions for Payments by Mail

NOTICE OF INTENT TO CONVERT CHECK PAYMENTS TO ELECTRONIC ACH PAYMENTS: READ MORE HERE

• Make personal checks, money orders, or bank cashier's checks payable to Sam Houston State University. Include the student's ID number and drivers license number on the check for credit to the proper account.
  
• To ensure that we receive the payment on time, it is suggested that the payment be mailed at least seven business days in advance of the payment due date.
• Payment must be received before 5:00 p.m. on the due date.
