KIN 378 ADMINISTRATION OF KINESIOLOGY AND RECREATION
12 lessons, 1 final exam Credit 3, $240 Prerequisite: 18 hours in Kinesiology.
The first half of this course is concerned with the organization and administration of physical education and recreation in the public schools; the second half, with the organization, administration, and business management of a high school athletic program.
KIN 473 ADVANCED TOPICS IN PHYSIOLOGY OF EXERCISE
10 lessons, 1 final exam Credit 3, $240 Prerequisite: KIN 373 or take simultaneously.
This course bridges the gap between basic undergraduate and graduate physiology. Selected topics will include: bioenergetics, hormonal regulation, hemodynamics, effects of high altitude, ergogenic aids, gender differences and exercise performance, and exercise with older adults.
