LaChrystal Ricke Radcliffe's research focuses on the intersection of Web 2.0 technologies and politics, with a specific focus on increasing democratic engagement & media criticism. Her work has been published in the book Politics & Popular Culture, the Journal of Communication and Media Research, and a chapter in the forthcoming book iRhetoric.

She teaches courses on the history of media technology, global communication, scriptwriting, and information and electronic media analysis.
