LaChrystal Ricke Radcliffe's research focuses on the intersection of Web 2.0 technologies and politics, with a specific focus on increasing democratic engagement and deliberative interactions. She has also published work on media criticism. Her work has been published in the book Politics & Popular Culture, the Journal of Information Technology and Politics, Communication Studies, and she has a forthcoming book (2014) on YouTube and Its Political Impact, published by Lexington Press.
She teaches courses on the social history of media technology, global communication, and information and electronic media analysis.
