John McLaughlin is a screenwriter whose credits include the Oscar-winning film Black Swan (2010), Hitchcock (2012), writer and consulting producer for HBO's acclaimed series Carnivale (2005), co-writer for the 2005 film Man of the House, series creator and writer for Point Pleasant (2005) and It's Me, Gerald (2004).
McLaughlin teaches Scriptwriting and has worked for Warner's, Fox, Universal and Sony and numerous television networks, including NBC, HBO, ABC and MTV. He has worked with producers and directors such as Robert Zemekis, Doug Wick, Sam Raimi, Harvey Weinstein, Lindsay Doran, Sydney Pollack, Pete Berg and Darren Aronofsky.
