Assessment Committee

The purpose of the Assessment Committee is to define and develop unit level assessments for monitoring candidate, unit, and program outcomes. Additionally, the Committee will provide recommendations regarding data collection, analysis, and reporting.

The Committee is chaired by the Accreditation Coordinator and comprised of the Program Coordinators and SPA program review writers for initial and advanced programs in the College of Education and other colleges within the University. Monthly meetings are held during the fall and spring semester. Committee members are appointed for a one-year term by the Associate Dean of the College of Education.

The COE Assessment Committee is charged with systematic evaluation of the unit assessment system and of each unit-wide assessment for both the initial and advanced programs.
