The Smith-Hutson Scholarship Program provides educational opportunities for Texas high school graduates pursuing a business degree from Sam Houston State University.

Dedicated to provide opportunities to students who otherwise may not have an opportunity to earn a baccalaureate degree, the Smith-Hutson Scholarship Program is targeted toward individuals with demonstrated financial need and academic potential.   Since its establishment in 1996 by an anonymous donor, the Smith-Hutson Scholarship Program has helped over 100 students pursue their dreams.
