Master of Business Administration

Program Information

The program is suited for qualified students from any academic discipline and provides a basic managerial background through the core requirements, with opportunities to specialize the degree through elective courses.

The Master of Business Administration degree requires completion of 36 graduate hours. Students with a baccalaureate degree from a non-business discipline or students with a degree from a university outside of the United States are required to take stem (preparatory) classes. The stem classes serve as prerequisites for the graduate business courses.

Accounting ACCT 5304 - Accounting for Management 3 hours
Business Analysis BANA 5368 - Techniques of Statistical Analysis 3 hours
Finance FINC 5310 - Introduction to Investments, Institutions, and Managerial Finance 3 hours
Business Administration BUAD 5310 - Research Writing in Business 3 hours
Management MGMT 5390 - Seminar in Strategic Management and Policy 3 hours
Marketing MKTG 5330 - Marketing Seminar 3 hours
Economics ECON 5370, 5357, or 5351 [currently only ECON 5357 is offered online] 3 hours
Management MGMT elective (any 5000-level MGMT course except 5390 or 5380; [check for online availability, as we are adding courses every semester] 3 hours
   
Graduate Business Electives 12 hours
TOTAL 36 hours
