Graduate Student Psychology Organization

Graduate Student Psychology Organization

• GSPO is run by graduate students with the purpose of advancing other graduate students through additional training outside what is provided in classes, guest speakers, and specialty training seminars
• All doctoral and masters level students are invited to be a part of GSPO.
• We will have fundraisers and other events that will provide opportunities for faculty-student interaction as well as opportunities to get to know others in the department that we may not see on a regular basis.

GSPO Dues

Dues are only $10.00 a year.  However, a payment of $15.00 will cover your dues and include a GSPO water bottle or coffee mug, your choice! (While supplies last- arghhh, the fine print!)

Please bring your dues to the next meeting, or contact a GSPO representative about paying your dues. 

 

Upcoming Events

February 17, 2012: 8:30 am. Interview day begins. Be there!

February 21, 2012: "Welcome back" dinner at Five Loves Deli! "Why," you ask? Just because! "Why so late," you ask. Because of interview weekend of course!

March 2012 (tentative): Doctoral practicum placement talk. Provides information to doctoral students about potential practicum placements to help you make informed requests. (A separate talk for Masters students is being discussed).

April 2012 (TBA): Internship talk. Students share tips, information, and their experiences with the internship application process to make the process go so smoothly for the rest of us that we will actually enjoy it (fingers crossed).
