The Department of Psychology & Philosophy is pleased to offer scholarship opportunity for graduates. Applications are posted during the Spring semester each year and the filing deadline is April 1st.

James P. Weber Scholarship

The fund is established in memory of Dr. James Patrick Weber, Professor of Psychology at Sam Houston State University. Dr. Weber used his research expertise to cross academic boundaries in the pursuit of the truth about the water we drink, the air we breathe and their effects on our total well-being.

  • Minimum 3.0 GPA required
  • Must be a 2nd year graduate student in Psychology.
