Curriculum Vita

Assistant Professor of Psychology

Research interests include the interplay between factors (environmental, social, cognitive, and biological) that predispose children and adolescents to engage in impulsive and delinquent behavior. Conversely, I am also interested in investigating those individuals who have similar risks but experience a more resilient outcome. Current research interests involve cognitive development and resilience in youth at risk for delinquency, social cognition in juvenile offenders, cognitive predictors of recidivism and prosocial change, and the external validity of neuropsychological assessment.
