Career Counseling
Not sure of the career direction you want to take? Need some help getting started? Schedule an appointment to meet with a career counselor to review career plans, develop a winning resume, to explore job-search strategies or to address any career-related concerns you may have. Career-counseling services are free and confidential. To schedule an appointment, call Career Services at 936-294-1713.
What to do to prepare for your appointment:
Print this Career Goal Timeline Worksheet, and try to complete the first page before your appointment. This will help you organize your thoughts and identify your career goals. Spend some time thinking about what you hope to gain from this appointment, what steps you have taken on your own, and your personal commitment to accomplishing this goal.
For academic advising, please visit the Sam Center. For a step by step guide, see The Academic Time Line.
