Going Paperless
As a result of Department of Education regulation changes and in an effort to expedite the timeframe and provide a more secure and efficient manner for students to receive their refunds, Sam Houston State University has made the decision to process all student disbursements electronically. As a result of these changes, the Bearkat OneCard Services Office will be eliminating the paper check option from our refund disbursement preferences as of
December 12, 2008.
Welcome to Bearkat OneCard
The Bearkat OneCard is the official ID of Sam Houston State University. The Bearkat OneCard signifies your status as an active member of the Sam Houston State University community, serving as your official student identification card and much more. You are expected to have your Bearkat OneCard with you at all times on campus.
Your first Bearkat OneCard is provided to all registered students, staff and faculty of the University at no charge and serves as the official identification card of the University. Activating the Bearkat OneCard will grant you access to the many privileges offered to the students of Sam Houston State University.

Tip of the Day
If you are using a Bearkat OneCard, remember to select Checking Account as the account type. Your PIN will be the PIN you entered during activation of your OneCard.
