Associate Professor Communication Building, R310 936.294.1197 ith_jdb@shsu.edu Teaching Area: Photography Born and raised in South Philadelphia. He Left for California in '71 and returned with a BPA in photography. Later, photographed, studied and taught in Indiana. Earned an MFA from Indiana University. "My aesthetic epiphany occurred at the Philadelphia Museum of Art when i first saw the photographs of Jerry Uelsmann exhibited alongside the photographs of Ansel Adams. I realized "It's OK, just do it."
