Annie Strader is an interdisciplinary artist who utilizes sculptural, digital and video processes to create objects, installations and performances. She earned her MFA from the University of Colorado at Boulder; Boulder, CO and her BFA from Ohio University; Athens, OH. She has an active exhibition schedule with exhibitions at The Athens Institute for Contemporary Art; Athens, GA, The Roy G Biv Gallery; Columbus, OH, The Hartnett Gallery; Rochester, NY and The Sculpture Center; Cleveland, OH.

In addition to her individual studio practice Strader is also a member of The Bridge Club Performance Art Collaborative with other members Emily Bivens, Christine Owen and Julie Wills. The Bridge Club has been
working together since 2004 to create site responsive performances, installations video and digital works. Their work has been widely exhibited with exhibitions at SPACES Gallery; Cleveland, OH, The1708 Gallery; Richmond, VA, The Contemporary Art Center; Las Vegas Nevada, Lawndale Art Center; Houston, TX and The 621 Gallery; Tallahassee, FL. In 2007 The Bridge Club was selected for the shortlist in the London International Creative Competition in the category of performance art, and in 2009 they received a Visual Artist Network residency grant.
