When a student is accepted at SHSU they are notified that they must see an advisor. The advisors at the Sam Center are all knowledgeable about giving you the best help. If you need to see an Art advisor you need to look at the schedule below and make adjustments to your schedule to allow such a meeting.

For students who have passed the AP testing with appropriate scores, they need to bring a portfolio of their AP work in order to get proper credit. The Art advisor is the only one at the Sam Center who may evaluate that portfolio.

Contact 936-294-4444 and speak with the schedulers in the event there are scheduling requirements for the time you intend to visit.
