Located in Rooms 213, 215, and 217 in the Farrington Building, the Computer Animation studios give
students in-class access to industry standard hardware and software. Our studios are equipped with
high-end production workstations, which include both PC and Mac platforms. The software used in our
studios include the Adobe Creative Suite Master Collection, Autodesk Maya, and Unity 3D.

Other equipment in our studios include: an Epson Wide Format Printer, Intuos Tablets, Cintiq Graphic
Monitors, Digital Audio Recording Equipment, Digital SLR and Video Cameras, and Easel Design Pro
Animation Lightboxes.

Students have access to our facilities in class, as well as outside class during scheduled open lab
hours. However, due to the rigorous nature of the coursework in our program, it is important that
students have round-the clock access to production tools. For this reason, each student in the
Computer Animation Program is required to purchase a MacBook Pro laptop and Adobe Creative Suite
Software. For more information about the requirements of the Department of Art's Laptop Initiative,
