 Dr.
Eugene M. Addison was born in Huntsville, Texas. Dr. Addison
graduated from Huntsville High School in 1939; received
a B.S. degree from Sam Houston State in 1942. Dr. Addison
served as a major in the U. S. Army Medical Corps from
1946-1948. He has practiced medicine in Huntsville for
many years. Dr. Addison served as the SHSU athletic physician
for fifteen years. His honors and awards are many. He
and his wife, the former Mary Jane Pond, have two sons,
Gene, Jr., of Huntsville and Paul of Austin. Dr. Addison
is a Life Member of the Alumni Association, a member of
the President's Club and a member of the Bearkat Club. |
