One of the largest annual events on campus, the SHSU Department of Agricultural Sciences once again hosted the Area IX FFA Career Development Events on April 5, 2005. Approximately 1400 students from nearly 100 schools journeyed to Huntsville for competition in 12 different events. The department’s faculty and students coordinated and conducted the events, which are designed to permit students to apply skills learned in the classroom through competition.
