A new crop of Ag Ambassadors was selected in September to represent the department for the 1999-2000 school year. The Ambassadors give presentations during Saturdays@Sam! and Sam Ag Day recruiting events, visit area high schools and staff the departmental recruiting booth at various stock shows and the State FFA Convention. Though their primary focus is on recruitment, they also represent the department at social events and a number of alumni functions throughout the year.

     This group of outstanding students is comprised of five freshmen and ten upperclassmen representing all majors in the department. They are often called upon to provide personal tours of campus and the agriculture facilities when prospective students and their parents come for a visit.
