Connie M. Fair, ('65) retired
 

after 32 years with USDA and
is living in Columbus.


Jim Warren, ('69 & '77) is

 

currently serving as President of the School Board for the Waller
Independent School District.


David Lyons, ('78) after 15 years
 

with New Holland, has accepted
a position as Senior Instructor at
The John Deer Dallas Branch
Training center. David has
maintained contact with the
agricultural mechanics program
at SHSU and was a feature
speaker here last fall. He has
been very active in the Texas
FFA Tractor Technician Contest
and the Houston Livestock Show
& Rodeo FFA/4-H Agriculture Mechanics Project Show.


Gary Yancey, ('70 & '80) is
 

employed as an Education
Specialist at the Region VI
Service Center in Huntsville.


Ray D. Davis Murrell, ('81) is
 

employed as controller for
Ornelas & Associates in Dallas.


Jody Folk, ('83) and his wife
 

Donna have three girls, ages 5,7, and 8. He has been teaching agriscience in Kirbyville for the past ten years.


Tom Benvegnu, ('85) started his
 

own golf course construction business in Houston after serving as superintendent of the North Forest Country Club for 14 years.


Dyke Rasco, ('85) is General
 

Manager of Service Operations at Mustang Equipment.


Dwayne Pavelock, ('86 & '93) is
 

teaching at Texas Tech University while completing his doctorate in Agricultural Education.


Walt Witham, ('90) is employed
 

by the City of Arlington Parks and Recreation Department.


Robert W. Yarbrough, ('90) is a
 

customs agent with the U.S. Department of Treasury.


Mark Minton, ('92) is a sales
 

representative for Fresh Country in Longview.


Monica Bell Barton, ('96) is an
 

executive assistant at First National Bank in Cameron.


Tommy Phillips, ('96) is a
 

County Extension Agent in Wood COunty (Quitman), having served previously with the Extension Service in Van Zandt County. He married Laura Wilson in August of 1998.


Shawn Smith, ('97) is the owner
 

of Lake Houston Lawn Care in Porter.


Jason McConnell, ('97) is
 

assistant golf course superintendent at Willow Fork Country Club in Katy.


Brad Tullis, ('97) is an Inspector
 

for the Texas Department of Agriculture.


Clint Goebel, ('99) is in the
 

management-training program at Musting Tractor and Equipment Company in Houston.


Joe Lemmons, ('99) is also in the
 

management-training program at Mustang Tractor and Equipment Company in Houston.
