We hope that these questions from last years conference help answer yours.  However, if they don't please feel free to ask us. 

What is included in the Conference cost?

The $100 conference fee includes the conference T-Shirt, Conference Padfolio, a variety of memorabilia from our sponsors, three sessions of workshops and three Texas meals as follows:

• Sunday: Dinner
• Monday: Lunch, Dinner
• Tuesday: Brunch      

How do I register?

Registration is done online.  Click here to register.

Is lodging included in the conference cost?

Lodging is separate from the conference cost.  There is not a specified conference hotel, however there are several of the hotels that have lowered their rates for our conference.  Those hotels have been indicated with the highest ratings.  For a list of conference hotels click here.

Will transportation be provided?

There will not be transportation provided.  However, you can rent a van at the airport that you arrive at.  This will make your stay here convenient for touring while in Texas.

What should I wear?

During Monday's workshops, the dress is business casual.  Khakis or slacks, please no jeans.  Monday night will be the NAAC Banquet where the award winners will be honored.  Please dress professionally.  You will receive a conference T-shirt which is to be worn on Tuesday morning.

Please be aware that the weather in Texas changes frequently.  In the past, we have had 70 degree weather in January and we have also had sleet and ice storms.  We encourage you to pack for both situations.  You can watch the weather forecast for the week of the conference here.

What is the gift exchange and roll call?

Gift Exchange is a traditional NAAC event.  On the last morning of the conference, each school brings memorabilia from their school to exchange with another school.  These items can include t-shirts, key chain, pens, mugs, picture frames etc.  This event helps all of us remember the wonderful people that we met while at conferences along with the great experiences that we shared.

The roll call is another tradition for NAAC.  At the breakfast on the last day following the gift exchange, each college or university will be announced.  At that time, your school can come up and sing your school song, do a skit or something else creative.  The sky is the limit!
