While attending Sam, he obtained his bachelors in Criminal Justice and minored in Sociology. He is a former student-athlete who looks forward to sharing his knowledge and love for Sam Houston State University and adds, "EAT 'EM UP KATS!"

From the small town of Navasota, Kimberly is the fourth in her family to graduate from Sam Houston State University. She is a 2008 graduate with a Bachelors degree in Mass Communications. Kimberly is thrilled to have the opportunity to share the excitement of being a Bearkat with prospective students as the Houston Regional Admissions Counselor. She believes that happiness is true success in life. "I want students to feel confident that SHSU will aid in finding their own success in life no matter what that might be.”

Megan is a native Houstonian who received her Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology in 2003. She decided to continue her education by completing her Master of Education in Secondary Education with a minor in Health in 2005. While attending SHSU, Megan was involved in many of the wonderful student groups, programs, activities, and special events on campus. "There are so many great reasons to be a Bearkat. I'm proud to have the opportunity to share what a wonderful place Sam Houston State is with others and why I'm happy to call Sam home."

Originally from Alvin, Texas, SHSU 2006 Alum Trina is a first-generation college graduate. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism/Public Relations and while at Sam Houston, was very active holding office in several organizations and committees. In her free time Trina enjoys shopping, spending time with friends and family, driving around in her car named "Bearkat" and karaoke. "Some of the best years of my life were as a student at SHSU. I'm excited to have the opportunity to share my love for Sam Houston State as the Dallas Regional Admissions Counselor!"

Originally from Giddings, Texas, Jordan is a 2008 graduate of Sam Houston State University. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication and a minor in Marketing. He plans to pursue his Master's in Higher Education in the near future. Jordan spent a lot of time engaging in several student organizations. He also served as a summer Orientation Leader and a Bearkat Student Ambassador. "I enjoyed my college experience at Sam and I am excited about informing future students about this great university. Rebecca was born in Houston, Texas and raised in the small town of Bellville. In 2005, she came to Sam Houston State earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management and Marketing. During her time at Sam she worked as a Bearkat Student Ambassador for the Visitor Center and was a member of Phi Chi Theta, a national coeducational professional fraternity in business and economics. She is a 2008 SHSU graduate. As the new Transfer Counselor, Rebecca is excited to share the great experience and opportunities Sam has to offer! Eat 'Em Up Kats!

A third generation Bearkat, Amanda graduated from Sam Houston in December of 2007 with a Bachelors of Arts in Consumer Sciences. She participated in various extracurricular activities and loved being involved as much as possible during her time as a student at SHSU. In addition to photography, shopping, biking, and spending time with her family and friends, she also loves spending time with her cat named, Rat, who demands a lot of her attention and gets into everything. Amanda is quick to tell you, "I'm proud to be an alumna from Sam Houston State University!"
