Applying to Sam Houston

After you've read the admission requirements for freshman students and chosen a major, you're ready to apply.

You can now apply for admission and pay the application fee online at the Apply Texas application website. You may also pay the application fee online at our SamWeb website. If necessary, checks or money orders must be payable to Sam Houston State University and sent to the address below. Please do not send cash.

$40 Application Fee
$10 Re-application Fee
$10 Late Fee

Transcripts sent electronically are preferred. If necessary, official paper transcripts may be mailed to the address below.
