About the Web Optimization Project

The Web Optimization Project is the result of a collaboration between Graduate Studies, DELTA Center (SHSU Online) and Enrollment Management.

The project was created to address the following goals:

• Establish a higher ranking for SHSU programs on search engines.
• Optimizing the SHSU collection of websites to drive enrollment, beginning with online and graduate programs.
• Eliminate process barriers for students who cannot physically come to campus or engage during traditional business hours

Template Change Slated for May 14-15, 2013

On May 14-15, 2013, a new "sharp" template will be applied to a large number of interior web pages on the main Sam Houston State University website. The sharp template, which will change the look of the pages while NOT changing their current content, is an update that matches the home page aesthetic changes that were implemented in December, 2012.
