Regents Approve Operating Budget, Planning and Construction At SHSU

During the Texas State University System Board of Regents quarterly meeting at Sam Houston State University on Nov. 15-16, the following items were approved for Sam Houston State:

Academic Affairs

Regents approved the university’s out-of-state and out-of-country course offerings.

Finance and Audit

SHSU’s fiscal year 2018 Operating Budget and Related Adjustments report and Quasi Endowment report were approved.  

Planning and Construction

Design development documents for renovation of the existing Lowman Student Center facility were approved.

Contracts

Regents authorized the purchase of 6.59 acres of land located at 2000 Sycamore Drive in Huntsville for $4,550,000. The university has no immediate plans for this property.
