Description
The Master of Education in Special Education with an Educational Diagnostician emphasis is designed to prepare professional educators with advanced competencies related to the field of special education. This program provides students with the knowledge, skills, and dispositions needed to apply research, methods, and recommended practices for the effective instruction of learners with special needs in diverse school and community settings.
This program's course of study also provides the academic foundations necessary for an Educational Diagnostician Certification. Students must have also have two years of classroom teaching experience before they can sit for the certification exam.
Evening classes are offered at the main campus and The Woodlands Center. The program may also be completed entirely at University Park. Students may take courses at any or all locations.
