Program Overview

The Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with Certification is designed for teachers interested in researching, developing and implementing curriculum changes to support student achievement. This program allows teachers to focus on curriculum methodology, pedagogy, and theoretical applications and how to apply these skills in the classroom.

This Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction program is designed for students who are seeking initial Teacher Certification as part of a master's program. Eighteen of the total thirty credit hours are certification courses.

Students who already have a Teaching Certification should pursue The Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction program. 

This program is completed online except for occasional research meetings and the state-mandated field experience.
