The MA in History degree may be earned through one of two convenient plans of study, allowing you to continue your education with a flexible graduate degree program for your busy schedule:
- A fully online master's degree program, entirely consisting of semester-based online courses
- A hybrid classroom/online master's degree program, with a combination of traditional college courses taking place in a physical classroom and semester-based online courses
In addition, students may choose from non-thesis and thesis degree plans; under a non-thesis degree plan, a thesis is not required for graduation.
The MA in History has been formally approved and accredited by the Texas State University System, the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (the gold standard of accreditation.)
