The MA in Clinical Psychology program is designed to produce Master’s-level practitioners who are qualified to sit for licensure as Psychological Associates (LPA) by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists. The program provides 450 hours of supervised practicum experience and equips students with applied skills in psychometrics and professional intervention. With additional course work and work experience, graduates may also be eligible to sit for licensure as Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC) in Texas.
The deadline for applications is February 15th, but additional applications will be considered after this date until the entire cohort is finalized.
The Clinical Track has two plans:
- Plan I - 45 hours of coursework and a Master’s thesis
- Plan II – a non-thesis option that involves 48 hours of study.
