Degree Program Overview

The Instructional Leadership program is designed specifically for the candidate who wishes to work in a leadership position in either public school, private school, or other educational organizations. This degree is not for principal certification candidates. These leadership positions are typically in educational organizations.

The Master of Education in Instructional Leadership is a non-thesis degree that requires all 36 hours to be completed in Instructional Leadership coursework.

Evening classes are offered at The Woodlands Center. This degree program is also offered online

Application Deadlines

Applications received early (June 15 for Fall, October 15 for Spring, and March 15 for Summer) will be given preference. All applications are due by the dates below.

  • Fall: August 1
  • Spring: December 1
  • Summer: May 15
